Where to Find Circuitry in Lou's Lagoon

The short route

Circuitry is an underground find on Norleaf, not a surface pickup on Lou's Island. Equip the Scooper, travel to Norleaf, and watch for the underground-resource signal instead of circling visible scrap piles. If you have already unlocked the material in your Lexicom, open that entry before leaving; current hands-on guides say the Lexicom records both the island and the gadget level needed for discovered materials.

The distinction between island and collection method matters here. Circuitry does not look like an obvious electronic part sitting beside a machine. The public answer that resolved the Steam thread specifically points to underground resources and names the Scooper. That explains why players can visit the correct general part of the game and still feel that the item is absent.

Why the Lou’s Island search goes nowhere

The Steam discussion preserves something most item lists lose: a correction. The first reply suggested looking around the central area on Lou's Island; a player then said Circuitry was underground on Norleaf, and the publisher account acknowledged the change. Readers can see the mistaken route, the challenge, and the fix for themselves.

If a quest or recipe has just introduced Circuitry, it is easy to assume the material must be near the machine asking for it. Lou's Lagoon often breaks a finished object into several refinement steps, though. The workstation is not a clue to the raw resource's island. Read the recipe from the finished item back toward its ingredients, then plan the trip around the raw materials rather than the crafting bench.

Prepare before flying to Norleaf

Empty a few inventory slots and move nonessential materials into the plane before takeoff. Plane storage is available when you stand close enough to the aircraft and move items through the inventory interface. That small step saves a return flight if Norleaf gives you other useful underground materials while you are looking for Circuitry.

Bring the Scooper you intend to use, then confirm that you can read its detector cues comfortably. Search in deliberate passes instead of sprinting randomly across the island. Sweep one strip, turn, and sweep the next. The goal is to make the underground detector cover new ground on every pass. When a node is found, collect more Circuitry than the immediate recipe asks for if your storage permits it; Power Source chains can call for multiple Microchips, and each Microchip consumes Circuitry in the launch-build recipe table.

If Circuitry still does not appear

First, check that you are on Norleaf rather than returning to the familiar starting island by habit. Second, make sure you are using the Scooper and reading underground pings; searching visible rocks with the Swirler solves a different problem. Third, consult the Lexicom entry. A current tips guide says it shows the island and required tool level for materials you have already encountered, making it a better version check than any static web page.

What Circuitry is for

The most visible early use is Microchip manufacturing. One launch-build crafting guide lists a Microchip as four Circuitry plus one Bronze Scale. Its worked Power Source example then uses Microchips upstream of Energy Pearls. We have not placed that entire chain in the verified planner yet because the exact Power Source formula currently has only one complete public table behind it. The guide shows the chain with attribution; the calculator remains limited to recipes supported by two independent sources.

That separation is intentional. A location lead can still be valuable when it is labeled as a player report, while a calculator needs stricter inputs because one wrong multiplier ruins a whole gathering run. For Circuitry itself, the Norleaf and Scooper route clears that higher bar through the corrected Steam thread and the independent crafting guide.
